Ellen DeGeneres According to a new complaint obtained by Fox News Digital, allegedly caused a 2023 car accident.
A woman claimed the former talk show host “T-boned” her vehicle on a four-way route in Santa Barbara County.

DeGeneres’ representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
The complaint said on October 16, 2023, the plaintiff claimed she was a restricted driver in a Tesla vehicle that was heading north on Evans Avenue near the intersection of Ortega Mountain Road.

“The intersection is controlled by stop signs in all directions. The plaintiff stopped her stop signs,” the complaint said. “She made sure there were no other vehicles at the intersection, which was how she kept moving forward.”
“When she went straight through the intersection, suddenly without any warning, the plaintiff’s vehicle was from the vehicle on the right, the vehicle that caused the injury to the vehicle driven by Ellen DeGeneres.”
“Ellen DeGeneres entered the intersection without stopping on the stop sign,” the complaint added.

The woman’s attorney claimed that DeGeneres’s “negligence was reduced to a reasonable standard of care for a person because of the act caused by the defendant’s negligence, or causing the defendant’s vehicle to collide with the plaintiff’s vehicle.”

“The defendant and his actions are a major factor in the multiple serious personal injury caused by the plaintiff and the cause.”
The plaintiff allegedly suffered wage losses, hospital and medical expenses, general losses, losses incurred by the incident.
The complaint also quotes “Loss of life, emotional distress and anxiety. Interest permitted by law”.
Recently, the re-proposed criticism resurfaced DeGeneres to understand what she calls toxic behavior in her long-running daytime talk show.

According to staff, DeGeneres, 67, dislikes male employees, and his actress Portia de Rossi, 52, was allegedly interacting with her wife. The crew also recalled what insiders called the infamous “Ellen Gaze.”
A former clerk described the appearance as “the queen is looking for her next execution,” adding: “She is horrifying.”
De Rossi was described as “nice” and related to the crew, but employees said that if DeGeneres saw them chatting with their spouse, their job would be risky.
