ESPN’s long-running daytime show “First Take” will soon lose its familiar face. Tuesday, long-term host and co-host Molly Qerim Announced that she will leave the show and the network later this year.
“After thoughtfully, I decided it was time to close this incredible chapter and get away from ‘first take’. Hosting this show was one of my biggest honors every morning and I had the honor of sharing the table with some of the most brilliant, enthusiastic and entertaining voices in sports – Qerim, of all her, is the best fan in the world.” Instagram stories.
Qerim first joined ESPN in 2006. She replaced former “First Take” host Cari champion in 2015 and was named the show’s permanent host about two years later.
