A Utah man is seen as being carried behind handcuffs Charlie Kirk’s Assassination Police said that within minutes of the shooting, police distracted the authorities because he claimed he was the perpetrator.

According to the documents, Kirk was shot and Sinn claimed he was a shooter. officer Zinn was not observed carrying a weapon, but eventually arrested him after he shouted “I’ll shoot, and now shoot me.”
When asked where to hide his weapon, Sinn allegedly refused to tell the officer who conducted the search, but still couldn’t find the gun.

His arrest caused confusion after the shooting, with Zinn taking away videos radiating handcuffs online and falsely saying the perpetrator had been captured.

After Zinn arrived at the police station, he reportedly backed off his confession, shooting Kirk and asking for a lawyer. When questioned by authorities, he conveyed to Zinn that they did not consider themselves to be the real shooter, but allegedly admitted to false claims that they wanted to “get attention from the real shooter.”
Police said Sinen was later taken to a local hospital for medical care, and later added that he “wanted to be a martyr to the person who was shot.”
Authorities say the investigation into Kirk’s assassination has been postponed due to Sinn’s distracted comments, Utah police said the investigation into Kirk’s assassination was delayed as law enforcement wasted the resources needed to find real shooters.

Nearly 33 hours after the shooting, police arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson in connection with Kirk’s death. He is scheduled to face charges in court Tuesday.

According to police, after authorities were detained, a search of Zinn’s phone was conducted, which allegedly revealed images of child pornography. Sinn was subsequently detained and booked in Utah jail on four counts of sexual exploitation of minors and one count of obstruction of justice.
The Utah County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. Fox News Digital was unable to find Zinn’s attorney immediately.
