Queen Camilla She did not attend the funeral of Catherine, Duchess of Kent, when she recovered from acute sinusitis.
“Sadly, under the Queen, the Queen has withdrawn from attendance at the Requiem Mass this afternoon Duchess of Kent “When she recovers from acute sinusitis, her thoughts and prayers will be with the Duke of Kent and the whole family,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement to Fox News on Tuesday.
The Queen walked down from Scotland this morning to honor Katharine, who died earlier this month at the age of 92 and is currently resting in Windsor. King Charles and other senior royals attended the funeral at Westminster Abbey.

Before recovery, all elements of the State Department visit with President Donald Trump on Wednesday are planned to attend.

President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump are expected Arrive at Windsor Castle On the morning of September 17, the Prince and Princess of Wales will officially greet them. Prince William Kate Middleton will then accompany them to see King Charles and Queen Camilla.
In July, Buckingham Palace announced that Trump will pay a state visit to the UK from September 17 to 19. King Charles III will host the couple at Windsor Castle.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Fox News Digital that the Princess of Wales will be the main player as she supports the monarch and her husband, the heir to the British throne. BBC and photographer Helena Chard agreed, telling Fox News Digital that everyone knows Kate will play a key role “during the state visit.”

“Hopefully Welsh people can travel abroad soon,” Fitzwilliams said. “This will attract great interest around the world.”
Previously, Charles signed a formal invitation, known as “Manu Regia”, and was hand-sent to the White House by British officials to invite Trump to a state visit.
