Tampa Bay’s first touchdown came in the first quarter of Mayfield’s scoring 20 yards. Mayfield found rookie catcher Emeka Egbuka for a 15-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Tampa Bay led 14-10 in the half.

With 2:10 left, Stroud handed the ball to the veteran and ran back to Nick Chubb. He took the lead for a 25-yard touchdown. This is Chubb’s first touchdown since November 21, 2024.
The Texans’ defense failed to end the bargaining.
Stroud finished 13 goals for 24 with 207 yards and passed to Nico Collins.

Tampa Bay has improved to 2-0 in the year, their fifth straight season to reach that record. Houston fell to 0-2.
