A debate in Wikipedia editor is angering whether to delete the profile page of Erika Kirk, wife of the Killed Conservative Activist Charlie Kirk.
Her Wikipedia entry is currently locked and users cannot make changes because the editorial nominee believes she failed to pass the website’s excellence standards and lacks obvious independent coverage.
Erika did not have an independent Wikipedia page before her husband died. The editor noted that the article was created Thursday after the killings.

Although Erika has no major public profile beforehand, she has attracted attention nationwide since Wednesday’s tragedy. Her emotional and provocative speeches on Friday night attracted millions of viewers around the world, and several major media outlets have since introduced her.
In her speech, she vowed that the U.S. turning point will continue its campus tour this fall. Her husband co-founded the conservative advocacy group in 2012.

A nominee in the editor using the handle “epluribusunumyall” wrote in the Delete Article (AFD) thread that the configuration file should be pulled out.
“The article was created later in the period when Charlie Kirk was killed yesterday, but otherwise the coverage would have been either limited (i.e., she participated in the pageant) or inherited from her husband,” the user wrote.
Another editor supported this view, saying that Erika was not worth noting beyond marriage to Charlie.
Many of the deletion arguments depend on core Wikipedia policies, saying Erica does not conform to the well-known norms in general, lacks obvious independent coverage, and should not inherit the infamousness of her husband.

Wikipediawhich allows anyone to edit their articles, often locking in high-profile or controversial pages in a heated debate. The entry is currently locked until September 18.
However, most people with weight think her profile should be kept and wrote that she is now interested in her due to current headlines.
“Wikipedia looks ridiculous on the banner, which states that the subject is targeted at deletion,” one user wrote. “And it won’t be edited until September 18? It’s ridiculous again. She gave a speech Friday night, two nights after the murder (which was only covered by Fox), she forcibly announced her intention to move the TPUSA movement forward. The fixtures need to be removed.”
Another responded to these emotions.
“It’s ridiculous.” There are many people in the Wiki that are far from ‘famous’ because many people will define it. ”
Many keep the votes driven by the current public interest, and she won in Arizona in 2012, which is sometimes seen as weaker under policy.

Although the retained vote is a majority, the decision will ultimately depend on whether the administrator believes there is sufficient independent coverage to meet the lawyer’s qualifications. The reason for the policy weight removal has weight.
