Ekeler has started two games for the Commander this season, scoring 43 yards in 14 carrys and five passes at 38 yards.

He ran 367 yards and four touchdowns, while being a valuable passer for Daniels outside the backcourt. Ekeler caught a 35-yard 366-yard pass.
The commander will turn to rookie seventh-round draft picks Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols to take the burden. Croskey-Merritt, 24, has 14 carrys for 99 yards and touchdowns in the first two games of the season. McNichols, 29, had four carrys in the same span of 25 yards.

Little Commander’s defensive end DeAtrich Wise Jr. will also miss the rest of the season after undergoing quadriceps surgery. The Wise was injured while trying to stop the first half’s super point attempt.
