Former President Joe Biden A report says new efforts to raise funds for the presidential library are working to attract Democratic donors.
More than six people who were once the major donor or fundraiser of Biden talked to NBC News. Most people say they are not hostile to the former president, but they either don’t give to libraries or just a limited number.
Donors pointed out several factors, including not wanting to make themselves the Trump administration’s goal and retaining funds for the Democratic Party’s future. Some of them said they had personal interactions with Biden’s inner circle, which was so unpleasant that it was hard to raise a large amount of money for the former president.
“I wish he had some good libraries,” a donor told NBC News. “I just can’t see that’s where I’m going to spend money.”

Biden has been frustrated after he finally quit last summer after demonstrating his highly censored mental acumen against Donald Trump in his decision to initially seek reelection. Library committee chairman Rufus Gifford, who led the fundraising campaign for Biden’s re-election campaign and served as financial director for former President Barack Obama, expressed optimism that donors want to donate.

“Those of us have been around for a while, love this guy, but also know the full picture I hope to see what steps we can do to protect and promote his legacy,” Gifford told NBC News. “It has nothing to do with the past. It has something to do with the future.”
One person familiar with Biden’s team plans said the project seeks $200 million to $300 million.
By comparison, the Obama Presidential Library will open in the spring at a cost of $850 million. President Donald Trump also raised millions of dollars for future libraries, and the luxury jets presented by the Catari royal family to the U.S. government will later be transferred to the Trump Library Foundation (Trump Library Foundation) – both moves are under scrutiny by the Democratic Party.
“I don’t think a big building will be built,” Morgan said, adding that Biden’s age and medical issues may mean that the former president may not be much helpful in raising funds for the library.
“This is perceived by this [the party’s] Woes was upset by his decision to seek a second term and we were going straight to Hindenburg. ”

Donors often complain that he was unable to get Biden’s chance while in the office, saying they were asked to write a check but could not call back.
