Salt Lake City – Utah resident Taylor Bentley says he leaves Charlie Kirk When he was assassinated, he told Fox News that there were moments when he didn’t believe it was true.

“After a second of shock, I pulled my friends down,” Bentley said. “And we were on the ground for about 15 seconds, just feeling helpless before people started running to buildings around the courtyard. We took off and stayed there for about 20 minutes.”

Bentley said he was worried during those 20 minutes of asylum, but he was not unsafe.

“We’re pretty sure it’s a targeted one. Assassination. We immediately knew Charlie would not do it. We’re close enough to see what the camera looks like and know he might not be able to do it. ” Bentley said.
Two days since Kirk’s assassination, he told Fox News Numbers that he loves information about community leaders, including Gov. Spencer Cox, R-UtahHe has been addressing the public at a press conference since Wednesday.

The governor said Kirk’s “political assassination” was an “attack on American experiments.”
“History will determine whether this is a turning point in our country, but if it is a turning point in our country, each of us can choose immediately. We can make a decision. We have our agents. Bentley said Cox “has done amazing work in promoting unity, faith, hope and embracing the message of Charlie having open dialogue there, avoiding violence and disagreements with us rather than violence, in promoting unity, hope and embracing information.”
Utah has organized several vigils since Wednesday’s assassination. On Thursday night, at Orem City Park, several students and local residents paid tribute during the candlelight vigil.

The memorial to commemorate Kirk at Timpanogos Regional Hospital is filled with “We Love You, Charlie” posters, flowers and the American flag. More signs and flowers were placed for Kirk on the Utah Valley University campus.
This week, statewide flags flew through half-time flights throughout the state, with many holding vigils at the Utah Capitol on Wednesday night.
