Fox News Digital and Omar’s office made comments and was pointed out Social Media Posts Omar said she “disagrees with Charlie Kirk’s remarks” but did not “hope to commit violence against anyone.”

The interview in question was with Mehdi Hasan’s Zeteo Town Hall, which began with Omar expressing condolences to Kirk’s family.
“It’s frustrating to hear the news,” Omar said when asked about her reaction to the killing. “The only thing I can think of is his wife, his children, this image will always exist.”
Omar added that her heart was broken for those babies and then began criticizing the leftist violence about Republicans, calling it “disgusting”, then criticizing Kirk and making comments that angered the conservatives online.
“But what I do know is that Charlie Kirk is the one who once said that guns saved lives after the school shooting,” Omar said. “Charlie was someone who was willing to debate and downplay the death of George Floyd, in the hands of the Minneapolis Police Department… an understatement of slavery and what the black people in this country went through, saying that Junitus should never exist.”
Omar continued to lament that there were a lot of “about Kirk” “there were a lot of people who wanted to have civil debates”, “provoking Hassan to interject and call it “a complete rewrite of history.”

“Yes,” Omar replied. “Nothing is like completely pretending that one’s words and actions have not been recorded and has been around for the past decade or so.”
Omar later criticized Republican Rep. Nancy Mace and President Trump for saying the president “inciting violence against people like me.”
“So, you know, these people are full of SH-, and it’s important for us to call them out, and we feel angry, sad, and compassionate, Charlie said that shouldn’t exist because it’s a new creation word or something,” Omar said. “Like I’m doing with his children and his wife and what they’re going through, because I don’t want that.”

Hassan then claimed that “politicization is done by rights” and called it a “problem” and you can’t say “death to someone.”
Hassan continued: “I’m glad not to say negative things and let the family mourn, but this is the time when everyone else tries to whitewash who that person is.”
this x Account For Zeteo News, founded by Hasan, the criticism of Omar’s comments made “this is a lie” and pointed out that Omar’s “sad” reaction to Kirk’s family.
On Friday, authorities announced that they had Arrested a suspect22-year-old Utah resident Tyler Robinson.
President Trump called Kirk’s murder a “dark moment” in the United States and ordered the flag to be hung on half-mast until Sunday night.
