Brian Walshe, accused Massachusetts man Dismembered his wifewas attacked in prison within weeks before his murder trial.
Walshe attacked the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office before 10 p.m. and did not determine Walshe was the victim, but his attorney, Larry Tipton, confirmed to Masslive.com that Walshe was stabbed.
Walsh was taken to Boston’s Beth Israel Deacon Medical Center for treatment and returned to jail overnight, the Sheriff’s Office said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

“Another person involved was subdued by the officer and the temporary blunt weapon was taken back,” the statement said.
The incident is under investigation.
Walshe is accused of killing and dismembering his wife Ana in January 2023. He plans to be tried in October.

Brian Walshe was captured on a Home Depot surveillance video and purchased various items, including three mops and brushes, two sputter-resistant goggles and a common knife. Investigators believe he used the items to deal with his wife’s body.
While searching for Anna, investigators found a hacksaw with “small bone fragments” in a bin across from Walshe’s mother’s house. In the days after his wife disappeared, Walsh allegedly used his son’s iPad to do more than a dozen Google Search Prosecutors said about how to discard the body.
Before his disappearance, Walshe hired a private investigator because he suspected his wife was cheating on him.

At the time, the couple’s marriage was on the rock due to unrelated legal troubles. Prosecutors said he was arrested for selling fake Andy Warhol paintings.
