A rare cross was recently discovered in the United Arab Emirates, illuminating Christian History In the early days of Islam.
The discovery was announced by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi, which was announced in August on the island of Banis Island in the Persian Gulf.

The statement added: “The style of the cross is similar to the discoveries in Iraq and Kuwait and is associated with the Oriental Church, which originated in ancient Iraq.”
