SEATTLE – A federal judge has issued a nationwide neighborhood on a Trump administration directive that prevents illegal admission to the U.S., a federally funded preschool program.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services filed a lawsuit over policy changes. A federal judge’s ruling at Washington State University on Thursday was successful in temporarily halting the implementation of the policy in its own state in a coalition of 21 Democratic attorneys general.
With a new ruling, the policy has now been suspended nationwide.
