Several media and liberals have frequently criticized the conservative views of Turning Point’s US founder Charlie Kirk and expressed sincere condolences and praise to influential conservative activists following the assassination on the University of Utah campus on Wednesday.

The editorial board of the Washington Post praised Kirk’s brand of conservativeism Wednesday editorial.

The New York Times Opinion Columnist Ezra Klein A post was published Thursday saying Kirk “practices politics in the right way.”
“He was showing up to campus and talking to anyone who would talk to him. He was one of the most effective persuasives of his time,” Klein wrote.
