Polly Holliday Dead. She is 88 years old.
“I can only confirm that Ms. Holliday died on September 9 at her home in Manhattan, her talent manager Dennis Aspland told Fox News Digital.
Holliday was born on July 2, 1937 in Jasper, Alabama Passionate about performance At a very young age. In the late 1950s, she went to the theater and took on her first lead role in “Lady Not To Burn” and “Medea”.

“She is a Southern woman seen in many places,” according to the Associated Press. “Not well-educated, but very sharp, with a sense of humor and determination not to let life down.”

After saying goodbye to Flo, Holliday played roles on various TV shows, including “Benjamin Private”, “The Golden Girls” and “Home Renovation”. She has also appeared in several films, including “Parent Trap”, “Madame douatderfire”, etc.
“I used to think I like drama more,” she told Tampa Bay Times In 1992, “But I’ve been performing in comedy and realizing that I’m a little good at it. Now, I think I want to do more comedy. It’s hard to do, but in a sense, it doesn’t bring much emotional loss.”
