Level 3 College basketball On Wednesday, the player was permanently banned from the NCAA for allegedly betting on his own game.
Mykell Robinson, Steven Vasquez and Jalen Weaver have revoked their qualifications after NCAA Violations Commission published their findings Fresno State and San Jose State University and able to share thousands of dollars in spending.
All three athletes are released from their respective teams and no longer enrolled in the previous school. Neither school was punished.

The NCAA announced that the three players bet on each other’s games and/or provided information to get others to do so in the 2024-25 regular season, and two of them even manipulated their performance to ensure that certain bets were won.
A sports integrity monitoring service in January informed Fresno State University and NCAA law enforcement officers, and Nevada sports book operators marked suspicious prop bets on Robinson, the NCAA said. The investigation began a week later.
Fresno State University said it is willing to work with the NCAA.
“The university has proactively shared information about sports investment activities with the NCAA and worked with NCAA staff throughout the investigation,” the school said in a statement. “While the qualification consequences for former student-athletes were significant, the case ultimately led to a Level III/secondary violation with no sanctions on the institution. The university continues to be confident in the culture of Fresno State track and field and is grateful for summarizing the issue.”
San Jose State University said it was aware of the decision and Vasquez had been removed from the lineup.
According to the NCAA, Robinson and Vasquez were roommates at Fresno State University in the 2023-24 season. In January 2025, Robinson, who was still at Fresno State and Vasquez, who was then at San Jose State, discussed text messages Robinson planned to perform poorly in several statistical categories during the regular season. The NCAA found that Robinson also made several bets on Fresno State teammate Weaver.
In one game, Robinson, Vasquez and third-party bets Robinson for $2,200 for $2,200, while among those who bet, a $15,950 payment will be reassigned.

In the same season, Robinson lined up 13 daily fantasy sports on the Parlays, which totaled $454 on the Parlays, including his own performance. He charged $618 at a time.
The NCAA said Robinson had placed multiple bets on Weaver, including two bets made after exchanging information about their respective betting lines with Weaver in late December 2024. Weaver also won $260 for himself, Robinson and third athlete and him.
