American flag outside White House President Donald Trump ordered the honor of Charlie Kirk, seen in the half-time campaign Wednesday night.

Trump said on his truth social: “In honor of Charlie Kirk, a truly great American patriot, I ordered all the American flags across the United States until 6pm to Sunday night, lowering it to half the mast”.
Images taken by Fox News Digital on Wednesday showed a huge American flag installed on either side of the White House in the direction of Trump.

trump card An official announcement was issued Wednesday: “As a symbol of respect for Charlie Kirk’s respect, given to me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I locally order the flag of the United States to be hung in the White House, all public buildings and naval institutions, all military fields and naval institutions, all public places and grounds, in the half-field of the United States and its territory and property until sunset on September 14, 2025.”
In the announcement, he also directed flags on all U.S. embassies, churches, consular offices, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities, naval vessels and stations, to lower their flags to half of Kirk’s honor.
Earlier on Wednesday, Trump announced that Kirk was passed by due to a social truth shooting, “the great, even legendary Charlie Kirk has died.”

“No one understands or possesses the heart of the youth of the United States of America better than Charlie. He is loved and admired by all, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my compassion, I am for his beautiful wife Erika and family. Charlie. Charlie. We love you!” Trump wrote.
The USDA also released footage of the American flag outside Half-Staff’s headquarters in honor of Kirk.
The American flag was also seen in Half-Staff, Orem, Utah, the suburbs of Salt Lake City and the location of Utah Valley University.
Republican Utah Gov. Spencer Cox also ordered the lowering of U.S. and Utah flags on all state facilities to “recognize the tragic death of Charlie Kirk.”

Cox also invites all private citizens, businesses and other organizations to commemorate Kirk by lowering the flag.

Republican Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt also announced on X that he ordered all Oklahoma flags to “remembrance of Charlie Kirk’s extraordinary life and legacy.”
“Charlie’s memory is a free and unremitting effort that will never die,” Steet wrote.
