“We remained silent in Charlie Kirk’s memo before tonight’s game. Kirk founded the youth activist group ‘Turning Point USA’ and has become a fixture on the university campus. The husband and father of two, Charlie Kirk, 31, is 31,” the team said in XX of X.
“Conservative activist and founder of American Turn Point was pronounced dead shortly after being shot and killed at a campus event at Utah Valley University.”

“The great and even legendary Charlie Kirk is dead. No one understands or has the heart of youth in the United States of America better than Charlie,” Trump wrote. “Melania and I have sympathy for his beautiful wife Erika and family.” Charlie, we love you! ”

Kirk was taken to hospital after being shot in the Utah incident Wednesday and died, a law enforcement official told the Associated Press.

Videos posted at the event appear to show Kirk being shot dead while talking to the crowd under a white pop-up tent. After the shooting, the crowd dispersed bystanders and shouted, “Run, run, run!”
