Archaeologists recently unearthed the remains of a large Roman parliamentary hall in Türkiye, which has carvings associated with it. Early Christian worship.
The discovery was reported in August by Turkish news agency Anadolu Agency, which was in August.
Throughout the Bible, it is mentioned several times in the Denizli province of modern Türkiye, including Revelation.
In Revelation 1:11 (KJV), Jesus Christ tells John: “What do you see, write a letter in the book and send it to the seven churches In Asia; to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea. ”
Laos also appeared in the book of Colossians. The apostle Paul acknowledged this to be an early Christian community.

Images of the site show a cross stone, and what appears to be an early Christian Chi-Rho monogram, representing The first two letters of “Christ” In Koine Greek. Etching is also accompanied by Greek words.

The images also show remnants of the ancient Roman parliament building, including the headless statue of the Roman emperor Trajan and the remains of the theater.

Archaeologists believe the building dates back to about 2,050 years, although the age of Christian etching is unclear.

In the past, according to the Turkish News Agency, an excavator also found a statue of a priest on the scene, as well as a sculpture depicting Scylla, which is from Homer’s “Odyssey”.

Archaeologists told the news agency that the ancient building is the main political and judicial center in Laos, with its shape as well as the pentagonal facade and hexagonal plan, which may be the first of its kind in Anatolia.
