Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said he hopes all schools Texas Take the time to read and pray.

“Those who oppose this law want to erode the moral fabric of our society and to remove the foundations built by the greatness of America,” Paxton said. “I will not stick with it, and the values that have always guided us have been stripped of and trampled on religious freedom, which is why I encourage prayers to be brought back to our classrooms.”

Paxton said in a public statement on September 2 that the Bible is part of the American Foundation.
“In the classroom in Texas, we want God’s Word to open up, show the Ten Commandments, and raise prayers,” Paxton said.
“Twisted, radical liberals want to eliminate the truth, eliminate the solid foundations that build American success and strength, and erode the moral fabric of our society,” he added. “Our country is built on the rock of biblical truth, and I will not stand it while the left is trying to push our country to the sunken beach.”
The Texas Legislature recently passed Senate Bill 11, which allowed Texas school boards to establish time to read Bible and religious texts and provide time for individual prayers.
“The law requires that the board of directors of every ISD in Texas vote on whether to adopt policies to implement record-breaking votes for these periods,” a press release from the Paxton office said. “Students need parental consent to participate in these periods.”

Kim Hermann, president of Southeast Law Foundation, told Fox News Numbers Paxton’s invitation to pray at public schools will be welcomed by parents and students.
“Today’s kids are afraid to pray in school and even say the word ‘Bible’,” Herman said.
“We’ve always heard it from students and parents,” she added. The Biden administration has targeted religious institutions and customs for years, which makes free expression in the United States not at all free. This move by Ag Paxton in Texas highlights how Americans should pray freely and allow school boards to allow voluntary prayer hours, a constitutional way of rule that constitutes a religious church.
