Apple Watch Series 11 is now Apple’s “Awe” event in CupertinoCalifornia, on Tuesday, scrambles a little on the wrist, which includes new updates including new hypertension notifications, sleep score analysis, 5G connectivity and increased battery life.
With a decade of upgrades and improvements, Series 11 represents a major move for Apple as it further incorporates health and fitness features in the Apple Watch lineup. In addition to Series 11, Apple has also announced Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Apple Watch SE 3and new iPhone 17 lineup (Including brand new iPhone Air), and the latest generation airpods (Pro 3).

Series 11 and the new Ultra 3 will both be with Watchos 26Apple previewed at the Global Developer Conference in June. The update brings a cleaner “liquid glass” UI for real-time translation of text messages, a redesigned note-taking app for your wrist and fitness mates; Apple’s new AI-powered companion that provides real-time motivation based on your personal metrics during certain exercises.
Pricing and availability
The Apple Watch Series 11 is now available for pre-order and will be available on September 19. Priced at the 42mm aluminum Wi-Fi model is $399 (£369, AU $679), while the LTE version of the same watch is $499. The 42mm model’s titanium LTE version costs $699.
New health features
The biggest addition is a feature that notifies you when you show signs of high blood pressure or high blood pressure. The Apple Watch will notice a consistent pattern over a 30-day period, allowing follow-up with the doctor and then allow the user to record their alerts to the blood pressure of the health app (from the cuff).
Another health upgrade is the new sleep score, which rated your sleep sessions from 1 to 100 or low to excellent. The watch doesn’t just hand over your numbers to no context; it breaks down your score and shows you factors like bedtime, sleep disruption, and duration, highlighting specific factors that may affect your sleep.
Design update
Visually, Series 11 looks a lot like Series 10, with the same thin profile and edge-to-edge display. However, there is a subtle practical upgrade: the aluminum model now uses more powerful, scratch-resistant glass, making it more durable for everyday wear.
Connectivity and battery
The Series 11’s LTE model supports 5G connectivity for the first time, and Apple says this connection is not only faster, but also more efficient in protecting battery life when in use.
Battery life has also been bumpy. Compared to the 18 hours of Series 10, Series 11 charges up to 24 hours. Apple tends to keep its battery claims in place. In the real world, we might see it exceeding the official promise, as I have been able to extend the 10 Series claim to nearly 30 hours.
