ICE agents arrested 57 illegal immigrants at a New York candy factory, including some accused of endangering children, DUI and repeated illegal reinvasions – attacking New York Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul was bombed as “brutal.”

“These actions target illegal employment networks in the U.S. workers, labor markets and threaten American communities,” a spokesperson said.
But Hochul said she was “angry” at workplace action, saying “flying in the face of New York’s values.”

Hochul criticized the action, saying: “There are at least a dozen parents with children at risk of returning to an empty house from school.”
“I have made it clear: New York “Will work with the federal government to secure our borders and expel violent criminals, but we will never separate families and abandon children on behalf of masked ice media,” Hochul said in a statement.
“Today’s raids won’t make New York safer. All they do is break up hard families, they’re just trying to build a life here, like millions of immigrants in front of them,” she said. “These actions face the values of New York. As governor, I will always oppose this cruelty.”
Despite criticism from Hawkel and other Democrats, a DHS spokesman called work-site enforcement a “corresponding efforts to protect public safety, national security and economic stability while saving individuals who may be victims of labor trafficking or development.”
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Department (ICE) and other federal law enforcement agencies were in a workplace enforcement action at Louisiana Racecourse on June 17. “The employment of illegal foreigners also incentivizes dangerous and illegal conduct, including social security fraud,” the spokesperson said.

ICE officials told Fox News Digital that among the people victimized by the mass identity theft program, a full-time nursing student lost college tuition because of fraudulent reports that they made too much money for illegal foreigners using their social security numbers.
Although the arrests sparked protests in some people in the local community and across the country, ICE said the identity theft of illegal foreigners proved that they were not innocent, hard-working members of society, as some have suggested.

“Back behind the reveal of every stolen Social Security number, these actions are a true American — mother, father, student and worker with disabilities — now facing devastating financial, emotional and legal consequences,” a Homeland Security spokesman said.

A spokesman noted that another workplace was recently conducted at a cannabis facility in Ventura County, California, where more than 300 illegal foreigners were arrested and 14 children were rescued from “potential forced labor, exploitation and trafficking.”
The children rescued on the farm were Mexico and Honduras.
Fox News Digital contacted Hochul’s office and nutrition bar candy store, but received no immediate response.
