Deion Sanders Saturday found himself in the quarterback puzzle, but he said he “(know) how I’m going to handle it.”
The answer seems to be revealed on Tuesday.

Sanders made their first taste against Lewis last weekend against Delaware in past quarterback battles, with Week 1 starter Kaidon Salter, Lewis himself and Ryan Staub (Ryan Staub) entering the season, who was third, both spinning the drive.

All three quarterbacks have seen this field, which is essentially a tryout. Salter, who started again, got the first two drives. Lewis entered, his two drives ending in a pan.
Staub then comes in, his first two full drives ending with a touchdown.
Salter had a total of 16 yards and 13 yards, 102 yards, and Staub made 7 in 10 with 156 yards and two touchdowns. After the Lewis pair, they rode the remaining drives.
Staub now reports that this performance is now included in Friday’s game, with the Big 12 Colorado State opening matches against Houston.

There was a moment on the sidelines Saturday when Deion Sanders put his hands on Staub’s helmet and stared at his mask, seemingly telling him: “I believe you, man.”

Sanders knew that Staub could have moved in the offseason, but apparently Sanders wanted him to succeed at Boulder.
“Trying to fix his ass and know who we are, who we are, what we want,” Sanders said. He admitted that there was a moment that reminded him of “Rudy.”
“He took out a lot of things and the entire student part was chanting his name,” he said.
