Another September, another Apple Event. today, Apple reveals Its new iPhone 17 lineup is in the regular and Pro models as well as the new iPhone air. The company also showed off the new Apple Watch (Series 11, Ultra 3 and SE) and the refreshed AirPods Pro 3.
There is not much discussion about software, or Apple’s ongoing efforts to seamlessly integrate AI into all of its products. But we have a lot of hardware! This is everything Apple announced today.
New iPhone
There are four iPhones as usual, but Apple has changed a lot this year. Gone are the plus models, replaced by the iPhone Air, a new super high and lightweight iPhone with a thickness of just 5.6mm.
However, you can only get one camera on this model, and Apple seems to be using it High-density silicon carbon battery. The company claims the iPhone 16 Plus plays the same video, even if the phone is thinner, presumably with a smaller battery. We will see its performance when testing. If you’re worried about (or Apple is worried about) the battery, there’s a new low-key Magsafe battery pack that comes with it.
The iPhone 17 Pro model has a new look and features a new “camera plateau” design. The highlight here is a steam chamber cooling system that helps adjust heat resistant to the processing processor, and a 48-megapixel telephoto camera that hits 4x optical zoom and 8x “optical” zoom.
All of these phones feature Apple’s new N1 wireless networking chip, which has Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and threading support, although only the iPhone Air comes with Apple’s C1X modem. This is probably because the C1X does not support millimeter wave 5G (SUB-6 only).
Perhaps even more exciting is the fresh 18-megapixel selfie camera that supports center stage features that automatically adjust the frame to keep you centered. It also has dual capture support so you can send reaction videos all day every day and call yourself a twitch.
The base iPhone 17 starts at $799. iPhone Air is $999, iPhone 17 Pro is $1,099, and iPhone Pro Max is $1,199. All iPhones will be available on September 19.
This isn’t in the talk, but iOS 26 will be available on iPhone on September 15.
3 new watches!
Compared to last year’s boring Tenth Anniversary On the Apple Watch, I saw a full revamp this year, including a long-term update to the company’s entry-level watch SE. This year, the Watch SE has the latest S10 chip, which means it finally offers a lot of features like sleep tracking and satellite messaging on more expensive watches. Satellite messaging was available on iPhone last year and is now available on all three watches. You can text family and friends when you leave the grid through your watch. If your watch finds you crash or an event occurs, it will also send your location to emergency services and contacts via satellite.
The latest update to Watch Series 11 and watch the Vaunted Series of Ultra 3 Health functions It’s a hypertension notification, what Apple expects is FDA clearance Within one month.
Within 30 days, the watch’s optical heart sensor will check if you have Symptoms of hypertensionwhich affects up to one of the three global populations and can cause everything from heart attacks to kidney disease to strokes.
Apart from hardware upgrades like the wide-angle OLED displays we saw in last year’s Series 10 Series 10, it’s huge, and it’s a huge 24-hour battery life that will be available up to 72 hours of battery life on the Watch Ultra 3 in Series 11 and low-power mode. The battery life of the Apple Watch has been infamous for a decade, and now you can (probably) wear your Apple Watch all night or camp for a weekend trip! Amazing!
