The tool also uses ANC and AirPods Pro 2 models to enter AirPods 4. This requires the latest firmware running iOS 26 and beyond and an iPhone that supports Apple Intelligence.
For beginners, live translation is exactly what it sounds like. The software translates language in real time when wearing earplugs. This allows for a natural dialogue similar to that when interacting with someone who speaks another language.
This feature will be available in English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish at the time of release, with more languages by the end of the year. These include Italian, Japanese, Korean and simplified Chinese.
