While Kittle won’t be participating in the upcoming week, it’s also possible that quarterback Brock Purdy will not be played.
Shanahan said Purdy is dealing with a left shoulder and toe injury and he will not guarantee his quarterback will be able to deal with New Orleans Saints. Shanahan also said toes are the worse toes among the two diseases.
“Unsure, we have to see how it heals and how it develops for a week,” Shanahan said of Purdy.
If it is not suitable for the 49ers, his substitute is veteran Mac Jones, the New England Patriots’ first round pick in 2021, who has not been eliminated. He moved to Jacksonville Jaguars, where he gained experience.

Jones played 10 games, seven of which started, replacing Trevor Lawrence for the Jaguars last season. Jones played eight touchdowns and eight interceptions at the Jaguars quarterback.
Eventually, the generous receiver Jauan Jennings suffered a shoulder injury, which also led him to withdraw from the game as soon as possible. But the 49 people avoided the serious situation as ESPN reported that Jennings’ MRI was restored cleanly. However, they will view it again via CT scan.
Unfortunately for the 49ers, they have caused serious damage to the main players in recent seasons, most notably McCaffrey and his bilateral Achilles tendonitis.
But McCaffrey looks to start his ninth NFL season as usual, rushing the dock with 69 yards on 22 carrys while picking up nine passes for 73 yards from Purdy.
