In the last game of the first week, the mood was high Chicago Bear And the Minnesota Vikings at Soldier Field, were the national anthem singers who helped set the tone.
Jim Cornelison is a dramatic tenor who usually sings the “Stars and Stripes” for Chicago sports events. He started off with fans cheering in his seat on Monday night.

The 61-year-old is a regular at Chicago sports events. He has been a national anthem singer for Bear since 2010. Chicago Blackhawks Competitions since 2008, Indianapolis 500 has sang “Back to Home Again” before 2017.
Cornelison is also popular outside of sports. He is a member of the Chicago American Artist Lyric Opera Center and sings at some of the world’s most popular opera houses.
He also serves as a board member of the Illinois Patriot Education Foundation and commander of the Honor Squad for the U.S. Air Force Band.

As he ended the national anthem, military planes roared at the stadium, soccer fans locked in on the best Monday night of the year.
