Authorities said six people were killed in a bicycle accident in Napa County on Sunday night.
The collision occurred around 6 p.m. on Pope Valley Road near the vineyard. SFGATEquote the California Highway Patrol. The driver of a minivan hit a tree while driving south on Pope Valley Road.
Six people died at the scene. According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver and another passenger were airlifted to a trauma center for treatment. The victim’s identity has not been released. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
