Officials say a 1-year-old boy was allegedly rescued by Arizona authorities from the boy whose father and industry grandparents snatched off on Knifepoint.
An amber alert was issued Sunday afternoon after Enzo Antonescu was allegedly kidnapped at a Target store on Colima Road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The sheriff said the baby’s father, Dragan Antonesco, 20, held a mother in Knifepoint, while Antonesco’s parents, Viorel Ilie, 48, and Marioara Ilie, 40, attacked her and kidnapped their grandson.
Authorities say the family fled the 2011 Toyota Sienna and eventually headed to Chicago.
Officials said the child was found more than seven hours ago, about 8 p.m., when a state police officer in Winslow, Arizona recognized the vehicle from an Amber alarm and pulled the car over. CBS News. Authorities also canceled the Amber Alert.
