Veteran wide receiver AJ Brownin Philadelphia’s 24-20 victory, the team’s highest pass option is barely present. He didn’t get his first goal until less than two minutes left in the game – an eight-yard reception.
NBC broadcasts have raised his lack of goals several times, but quarterback Jalen Hurts is using his legs to find other receivers, including the tight Dallas Goedert, moving the ball to the end.

Goedert, in turn, is a one-on-one player who finished the game with seven catches for 44 yards. Hurts also found Jahan Dotson, the team’s third receiver behind Brown and Devonta Smith, and also a 52-yard bomb end.
It’s just the first game of the season and we’ve certainly seen the pain and Brown connection since the Tennessee Titans traded him to Philadelphia.
The Hurts are doing what needs to get the Hawks out and into the finish area, and they did three times in the first half. He scored the team’s first two touchdowns on the ground, and Saquon Barkley, who had four catches in the game, rushed to score.

Maybe it’s just Brown’s start for a year, but it’s going to be something to watch until the pain starts toward his goal.
