The troubled country star opened up this week the exact conditions he needed to fall asleep and how it affected the sleep schedule of his 20-year-old wife, Cassidy Bentley.
“Will my wife be like, ‘Did you go to bed last night?’ And we don’t even sleep in the same room anymore,” the 49-year-old told Bobby Bones “Bobbycast” podcast Tuesday. “We’ve gone beyond that.”
He said while his wife fell asleep almost immediately, he needed three pillows “must be positioned in the right way” and that if she moved “the smallest point” in her sleep, “I would feel it.”

He explained: “A few years ago, I decided to separate the church and the state and then got rid of the bed and I got two platform beds, two box springs and two mattresses.”
