The brothel is located near the troubled Roosevelt Street corridor in Queens, a two-mile commercial zone that has plagued crime, prostitution and violence for years, that despite being often suppressed to the red light district, it is often referred to as the red light district. AOC, progressives ignore the “red light” area as prostitution, dirty streets come back
One brothel is hiding next to the boat platform, while the other is disguised as a massage parlor – its run-down door was posted by a “closed” sign as protesters urged the Fed to do it once and for all.
“We again write to your agency for investigation and enforcement of the evolving situation in the Roosevelt Avenue Corridor,” Restore Roosevelt Avenue Coalition wrote in a recent letter to Patel. The group advocates for improving quality of life and ensuring safer streets that are primarily immigrant communities.
The group identified eight locations they said were famous brothels, seven of which were in the area of Ocasio-Cortez, while the other was in the area of progressive Rep. Grace Meng. The group marked at least five street corners and they said sex workers were operating.
The activists praised the police’s efforts, but insisted that the issue was so entrenched that only federal intervention could eliminate gangs and allow family life without fear.

“The rampant contertive we see on the streets 24 hours a day, seven days a week, have adversely affected the mental and mental health of our children and families,” the group spokesman Rosa Sanchez said at a rally last week. “There is no reason that our children have to witness the tragedy of humanity, where women are forced to sell their bodies for the profits of traffickers and pimps. This happened before our home. This has to stop.”
Sanchez also targets Democratic officials such as New York City mayor leader Zohran Mamdanisupportive work decriminalizes.
“We refuse to legalize prostitution! Obviously, no one who supports this legislation knows what it means for our community,” Sanchez added.
Mamdani’s campaign did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request to clarify his position.

Ocasio-Cortez spokesman said female congresswoman demanded more than one million dollars Federal funding “nonprofits focus on violent disruption programs and support victims of sex trafficking in the region.”
Meng told Fox News that she is regularly contacting police and residents with the crime status and said she is marking the team’s letter to the FBI, adding that she is also seeking federal funds to help fight crime along Roosevelt Avenue.
“I have formally asked for federal funding to support local initiatives and programs specifically requested by the New York Police Department that will provide them with more tools to combat crime in the region,” Meng said in a statement.
The FBI contacted FOX News Digital not specifically addressing the letter after the FBI arrested the 18th Street gang, but pointed to comments from Assistant Director of the FBI, Christopher Raia, who said the agency will continue to dedicate resources to violent crime and transnational gangs in the community.

“The department has made great progress in combating the surge in crime that has swept our community, but the mission remains incomplete,” Monserrat said.
“State laws do not provide our local law enforcement with various options available to federal law enforcement. Therefore, we call for FBI Once again investigate our complaints about human trafficking and extortion in the community. ”
