The sheriff’s office said no specific preschool or educational property was mentioned in the threat and that no active threat of violence was available to any Carteret County schools.

“The comments posted by this suspect were violent, hateful and shocked,” Cartret County Sheriff Asa Buck wrote in a statement to Fox News Digital Digitization. “Our offices have worked quickly to detain this subject and with [FBI] He was subsequently custodianized by federal custody. …The suspects who post these types of comments will be dealt with seriously as permitted by law. ”
