Productivity software maker Atlassian has agreed to acquire the browser company, which manufactures ARC and diameter Browser, $610 million in cash.
“Today’s browsers are not built for work; they are built for browsing. This deal is a bold step for reimagining a browser that reimagines knowledge work in the AI era,” Mike Cannon-Brookes, CEO and co-founder of Atlassian, said in a statement.
He added: “Together, we will optimize an AI-powered browser for many SaaS applications that live in the tag, which is a browser that knowledge workers love to use every day.”

Miller said the deal will enable browser companies to hire and ship features faster and support multiple platforms.
The transaction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of fiscal year 2026.
Browser companies recently raised $50 million, worth $550 million last year. So far, the startup has raised a total of $128 million in multiple rounds, with investors including Pace Capital, LinkedIn’s Jeff Weiner, Medium’s EV Williams, Figma’s Dylan Field, Notion’s Akshay Kothari and Github’s Jason Warner.
