Philadelphia Eagles Legend Brian Westbrook heard head coach Nick Sirianni say the team won’t watch their Super Bowl Lix Banner rise in Lincoln finance on Thursday night.
Westbrook can’t like this mentality more.
While the entire Philadelphia city will be ecstatic to see the franchise’s second Super Bowl flag ever risen on Thursday night in the NFL 2025 season Dallas cowboysthis year’s Hawks focus on winning another Vince Lombardy trophy at the end of the new season.

Westbrook talks with Fox News Digital after working with USAA as part of its regeneration ride NFL The kickoff on Wednesday, offering a new car to a deserving military service member, discussing the Eagles’ mentality into 2025.
“One of the things I like about this team during the offseason is their approach,” he explained. “This offseason is not about saying they are the best team in football in Philadelphia and the United States in the win, they beat the dominant champions and they did it.
“That’s what this offseason focuses on for this football team.”

Westbrook added that in his conversation with the Hawks players, he had only heard of offseason workouts and looked forward to 2025, rather than recalling the Super Bowl.
In Westbrook’s eyes, a large portion of that is led by the team’s franchise quarterback Jalen Hurts.

“Chip is on his shoulders,” Westbrook said of Hurts, entering his sixth year in the Eagles uniform. “People still doubt him. Super Bowl MVP and people still doubt him. So Jalen has a little bit of chips on her shoulder and I’m grateful because I’m also in the game. His ability to lead this team will say a lot and I think he’s a great leader.”
Of course, without mentioning their biggest free agent pickup, running back to Saquon Barkley, who continued to lead the NFL in his debut season in Philadelphia and continued to lead the NFL, he couldn’t talk about the 2024 Hawks.
Westbrook played Barkley as a member of the Eagles and knew how important he is now and in the future to the team’s success. But his favorite thing about Barkley is his selfless nature, regardless of his role, which is determined by him, winning.
“Saqun is one of the best teammates you could have,” Westbrook said. “He understands and believes, ‘If we need 50 times per game, I’m willing to block 50 times. If we need to run the ball, I’m going to run the ball 50 times.’ So he’s selfless in that way.”

If the Chiefs win in New Orleans earlier this year, they will consolidate their position as an NFL dynasty. After all, no team in league history has won three Super Bowl games in a row.
But looking at the Hawks team, and how GM Howie Roseman has made a big championship window in the coming years, maybe it’s the squad that comes back with the term “dynasty”.
When asked about this question, Westbrook replied, “I don’t think you can throw this word to the dynasty yet.” “I think you have to win a few more times in a row. I mean, [2017] It’s big, but it’s also big when I came back last year. Before you have a dynasty, you need to win some of them. But talented, they have the ability to do so. They have the ability to back-to-back and have the ability to win a lot of games this year. As a fan, I hate throwing dynasty over the dynasty that really happens.
“So, I won’t use it, but I certainly understand why people say this team has the potential to be a dynasty.”
