President xi jinping On Wednesday, he declared China’s “great revival” unstoppable as he used the country’s largest military parade ever to suggest reunion with Taiwan and show off advanced weapons designed to compete with American power.
Xi Jinping said that the People’s Liberation Army will “resolutely protect national sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity”, emphasizing Beijing’s ambitions for Taiwan. He added: “The great revival of the Chinese country is unstoppable.”
The 70-minute scene marks the 80th anniversary of Japan’s surrender in World War II. Thousands of troops crossed Tiananmen Square, followed by pillars of tanks, missiles and drones.

Xi Jinping looked at the march between Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, a signal of solidarity among American opponents.

After the parade, Putin and Kim met two hours after the closing. According to Chinese state media reports, Putin thanked Kim Jong-il for supporting Russia’s war in Ukraine.
President Donald Trump weighed the Truth Society and directly addressed Xi Jinping: “Please express the warmest attitude to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, and you are in your opposition to the United States of America.”
About twenty world leaders watched from the stands, including Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. As Western allies were largely away, only two heads of state from Europe – Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico – accepted China’s invitation.
