Trump welcomes Polish president with flyover tribute to fallen fighter pilot

Exclusive: Eight fighters will go overpass when Poland president Karol Nawrocki Fox News Digital arrived at the White House Wednesday morning.

President Donald Trump’s Meeting with Navaroki, who Trump supported in the Polish elections, in an ongoing negotiations between Polish neighbors Russia and Ukraine, to end the conflict between the two countries.

“President Trump is looking forward to welcoming President Navaroki to the White House, who recently won historic elections in Poland,” White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly said in a statement to Fox News’s digital numbers. “The spectacular overpass will honor a brave Polish fighter pilot whose life was taken too early and captures the special relationship between our two countries.”

In addition, four F-35 fighters will fly over the White House to recognize the relationship between the United States and Poland. The United States sold F-35 fighter jets to allies, including Poland, and the State Department signed a $1.85 billion maintenance equipment to Poland in August for possible sale of F-35s.

Similarly, the United States has begun training Polish pilots to operate the F-35 at the Ebbing Air National Guard base in Arkansas in May.

This is not the first time that the Polish president has taken a flyover when he visited the White House. When then-President Andrzej Duda arrived in Washington, he also took place in 2019 during Trump’s first semester.

Nawrocki’s visit comes as escalates amid attacks on Ukraine by Russian President Vladimir Putin, despite a meeting in Anchorage, Alaska in August trying to propose a peace deal.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration has tried in recent weeks to work with European allies to nail various Ukraine’s security guarantee Protect Russian aggression again.

Trump initially said a trilateral meeting with Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who was working after meeting Putin, but Russia expressed no interest in the meeting.

As a result, Trump said on Tuesday that if Putin fails to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, there will be consequences.

“We’re going to see what happens,” Trump told reporters on Tuesday. “We’re going to see what they do and what happens. I’m looking at it very carefully…I want to see it end.”

Nawrocki plans to arrive at the White House at 11 a.m. Eastern Time.
