Victim of a convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein Wednesday will be in front of cameras as controversy over Congress this week reignited with Congress this week.

Victims plan to join Democrats Rep. Ro Khanna California and Republican Rep. Thomas Massie, a bipartisan, released archives related to the federal investigation into Epstein, under bipartisan push from Congress.

Khanna said after seeing the press conference, “people will be angry”.

The press conference was part of Khanna and Massie’s efforts to pass a process known as a discharge petition through the House, which could force the House to vote to urge the Justice Department to release the Epstein archives.

On the eve of the press conference, the House committee investigating Epstein’s archives released thousands of documents related to cases the Justice Department has handed over to lawmakers.

The House Oversight Committee’s nearly 34,000-page surprise file dump includes an interview with an Epstein partner Ghislaine Maxwell, and videos that appear to show the inside of Epstein’s Palm Beach, Florida.

Thousands of Epstein documents suddenly released

“This is the most thorough investigation of Epstein and Maxwell and we are getting results,” Kentucky’s oversight committee chairman James Comer said Tuesday night.

But Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat of the committee, claimed that nearly 97% of the documents had been made public.

The sudden release seemed to be to eliminate Khanna and Massie’s efforts, which Comer called “political stunts.”

But Massie accused of “nothing new here” in the sudden release of the fire. “They gave us nothing.”

Khanna pushed for the press conference in a digital interview with Fox News on Monday.

“These victims haven’t spoken for decades. When Epstein reached a leniency plea, no one spoke with the victim or their lawyers,” Karnar said.

He predicted: “My belief is that when the American people actually hear the victims for the first time, they will sympathize, their hearts will be broken and all victims are saying to be closed.”

Khanna argued: “There are many other rich people, politicians, business leaders who have committed abuse and are not responsible. That’s what we heard on September 3rd on September 3rd, people will be angry and I can’t see, after that, the house can’t vote for the release of these files.”

Massi, in social media postsHope House Speaker Mike Johnson “will listen to the defense of these victims and resign in an attempt to block the vote on the release of our legislation to release Epstein’s archives.”

The White House’s handling of the Epstein case sparked an outcry earlier this summer after the Justice Department and the FBI announced that no evidence of Epstein’s client list was found.

This move angered many presidents Donald Trump’s Maga’s supporters and allies (sensational revelations were expected), and some called for the firing of Attorney General Pam Bondi.

A month ago, the president called the Epstein case a Democratic scam and believed that “past supporters” had “buyed the bull-“.

Khanna and Massie are optimistic, they have voted for their efforts.

“I am confident that we will receive 218 votes as a discharge petition,” Khanna told Fox News Digital, who was interviewed during an interview New Hampshire AFL-CIO’s annual Labor Day breakfast.

“We have 212 Democrats and 12 Republicans, including Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert. Look, it has nothing to do with Donald Trump, it’s not partisan. It has to do with justice for the victims of wealthy men who abused underage girls… In this country, in this country, people want fixedness. They want responsibility.” They want responsibility. ”

Epstein died in 2019 after committing suicide in a federal prison in New York while awaiting federal charges related to sex trafficking.

In the following years, there was strong speculation and theory about the gender rings of allegedly operating financiers.

The House voted on another resolution proposed by Republican leaders that called on the Oversight Committee to formally continue the investigation of Epstein’s archives, as well as the release of documents Tuesday night, which appeared to be a unanimous effort against Khanna and Massie.

Massie claimed that the leader’s resolution was intended to “provide political cover for members who do not support our bipartisan legislation to force the release of Epstein’s archives.”

But Johnson turned around a few hours later, “I wouldn’t invest too much stock in what Thomas Massi said.”

The speaker added: “The house will do the work here and you will get the most transparency. We will let the Americans decide.”

He was convicted on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, sentenced to 20 years in prison, and was convicted on Capitol Hill and met with Johnson and Comer in private.
