Authorities are looking for A beloved university professor Disappeared on the morning walk on Labor Day.
Northwestern University professor Nina Kraus, 72 years old Reported missing She left her residence for the last time on Monday, Sept. 1, in the 1500 block of Ashland Avenue in Evanston, about 9 a.m., according to the Evanston Police Department.
Kraus, a communications professor and a national auditory neuroscience researcher, wore a trench coat, trousers, and a dark backpack when leaving home. She is described as about 5 feet 4 inches tall with long silver hair.
“The university hopes that with the help of the community, we can find Professor Klaus and make sure she is safe.” Statement now shared by Northwest Airlines.

Authorities are urging any information about Klaus’s whereabouts to contact the Evanston Police Department at 847-866-5000. Northwest officials said they will also provide updates as the search continues.
