A firefighter fought the fire in a two-story house in Chatsworth on Tuesday morning.
According to a department consult.
Residents of all houses were able to evacuate firefighters in response to firefighters, forcing them into the second floor and behind the major fires.
Fire department said 37 people responded to the fire and one was taken to the hospital after suffering minor burns. A LAFD spokesman said the injured firefighters are in stable condition.
At 11:39 a.m., LAFD brought 16 occupants to overhaul the two floors of the structure after the main fire was put out (cooling the hot spots and addressing additional fire risks). According to the consulting update, the department also requested additional resources from Southern California Natural Gas Corporation to assist.
LAFD recommends motorists to cross nearby areas to seek alternative routes.
