Her congressional financial disclosure revealed that Rep. Ilhan Omar’s net worth reached $30 million in just one year.
Disclosure in 2025, first by Washington free beacon, It shows that Omar and her husband Tim Mynett have net worth ranging from $6 million to $30 million, despite saying earlier this year that she was “not a millionaire.” The vast majority of the wealth comes from two Mynett companies, a winery in California and a venture capital firm.
Disclosures starting at the end of 2023 show that these ownership shares are only $51,000, while in 2024, these shares are of little value.
Monday’s disclosure comes after years of Omar’s attempt to downplay or completely deny his personal wealth in comments to the media.

“Since the election, there has been a coordinated right-wing false propaganda campaign, claiming all kinds of wild things, including ridiculous claims, I deserve millions of dollars, which is absolutely false,” Omar told Business Insider earlier this year.
She added soon after, “I’m not a millionaire.”
She recalls claims about personal wealth in February and encourages critics to “try to check my public financial statements.”
Omar’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.

According to a 2025 disclosure, Mynett’s company, Rose Lake Capital, is worth between $5 million and $25 million, while winery Estcru wines are worth between $1 million and $5 million.
