Blake Lively starred with Trachtenberg on Gossip Girl, calling her “faithful and loyal” in a lengthy post in her Instagram story.
She said along with the Trachtenberg photo, which she said was their first day together, and she called the actress “big and bold, obviously herself…she has always been a kind person,” adding that “she is electric and electric.”

“Time has passed,” she wrote. “You think you have the opportunity to meet an old friend. The real tragedy in life is blinded by you while you are idle on Tuesday.”
She continued: “Hold your loved ones and love my dear. This world has lost a very sensitive and good person in Michelle. May her work and her great heart be remembered by those who have been lucky enough to experience her fire.”
Rosie O’Donnell starred with Trachtenberg in 1996’s “Harriet The Spy” and called the news “heartbreaking” in a statement to Fox News Digital.
“I love her very much,” she said. “She has struggled for the past few years. I hope I can help. ”

Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, creators of “Goggy Girls,” Trachtenberg plays villain Regina Sparks, who told NBC News that they are “very saddened by the news of Michelle’s death.”
“Michelle is so funny, kind and talented. Her portrayal of Georgina Sparks is an iconic fan favorite, from a season of villain to a beloved character, back in six seasons,” they said. “She is so excited to be on the scene and will be deeply missed. Our idea is with her family.”

Kim Cattrall, the star of “Sex and City” played the character ski instructor of Trachburg in the 2005 film “Ice Princess”, shared a photo of their photos on her Instagram, which read “Rest in the Peace Michelle”, and a broken heart emoji.

“Her natural passionate nature was taken into pain as she tried to learn how to handle all that came with it,” said Smith-Cameron, who played Trachtenberg’s mother. “She was a very charming little girl. A few years later, we found each other on social media and briefly connected. She was always very passionate about me. I was so shocked and upset when I heard about her passing.”
“Michelle is definitely one of the sweetest and most supportive people I’ve ever known. I’m lucky that I have to be her friend.”
Trachtenberg was found dead Wednesday in a New York City apartment, Fox News Digital confirmed.

According to the New York Police Department, authorities found Trachtenberg in the house after responding to a 911 call at around 8 a.m. Trachtenberg’s death was not investigated as suspicious and the cause of death will be determined by medical examiners.
Police sources told ABC7 Trachtenberg had recently undergone a liver transplant and may be experiencing complications.
Trachtenberg’s representative also confirmed the actress’s death.
“The family demanded a loss of privacy,” Gary Mantoosh told Fox News Digital. “There is no other details at the moment.”
