Robert Carter Clark County High SchoolAccording to FOX10, he was arrested in Niceville, Florida after a traffic stop. He allegedly fled Alabama during an investigation.
Carter, 55, was arrested on 11 counts and was detained in the Okaloosa County Jail on a $122,000 bond.
The charges include four counts of school employees who have sex with students, four counts of distributing or soliciting obscene materials from students, and three counts of soliciting sexual acts with students.

Before his arrest, Clark County School sent him on administrative leave.
“As the head of the Clark County School, I want the professionalism and integrity of my faculty and staff,” said Ashlie Flowers, principal of Clark County Schools. said in a press release.

Carter became the school’s coach in 2023, finishing 15-10 in his two seasons. He was formerly the head coach of Beauregard High School, and he won the state championship in 2016 and coached at Sylacauga in 2021 and 2022.
