The 55-year-old actor’s representative told people Magazine.

In a long interview Daily MailMoran’s friend Terry Stone told the media that Moran’s girlfriend was the one who encouraged him to seek medical help after the actor experienced neck pain.
Stone said his friend was told he needed “urgent action because it was life-threatening.”
“I talked to one of his family members who had damaged his neck in some way, which affected his spinal cord and some things that manipulated your speech and your legs,” Stone said.

“He is recovering [doctors] Basically speaking [ahead of surgery] He may never walk or talk again, it is painful. He wasn’t the best health, but when he came out of the surgery, I thought, “Thank you, God” because I think he would rather not walk or talk than die. ”

“They have to replace [bones in his neck] With artificial bones, this is a microsurgery because there are a lot of nerves around the neck and spine, so this makes the surgery tricky because those chances of not being able to speak or walk again are terrible. ”

Stone said Moran still has a long way to go when heals.

“He’s talking now, which is a good sign, but he’s hanging out like he was when he was 100 years old, with a relaxed neck around his neck,” he said.
Moran’s representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital.
