Guerrero will become a free agent after the 2025 season. The first baseman had a lot of suitors in the open market, but he reportedly chose to be with the team he joined as an amateur free agent in 2015.
He will receive the third largest contract in total USD, lagging behind Juan Soto’s According to the Associated Press, a 15-year, $765 million deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers, a 10-year, $765 million deal with the New York Mets and Shohei Ohtani.
