“Buffer Karen Read’s Trial Now it has become a “news-free zone,” wrote the plaintiff’s attorney Marc Randazza on X. He also represented four protesters who sued Judge Beverly for the scale of the homeless area earlier this week.
State police declined to comment on the grounds that they discussed the policy of pending litigation.

Read’s second trial is on the way to jury selection. The first ended in the trial on July 1 after jurors were unable to reach consensus on the verdict.
She faces charges of murder, manslaughter and died on suspicion of supporting her Lexus SUV to O’Keefe in January 2022 and leaving him on the ground during a snowstorm.
She pleaded not guilty, denying the charges, and her defense argued that she was made up.
