Whether you’re Baggins, Back, Brandybuck or Proudfoot, all of them are invited to the long-term expected party on April 5. LEGO has announced its latest Lord of the Rings set, this time in the homes of Shire, Hobbits Bilbo, Bilbo, Frodo and Samwise Gamgee.
The set is based on very specific scenes in books and movies: it’s Bilbo’s birthday, and he’s having a celebration. Gandalf brought fireworks and when the party took place Merry and Pippin emitted the biggest soaring, representing the Smaug of Bilbo’s adventure.
The scene is full of details such as fireworks tents, party trees and cakes with huge candles. Fun fact: The candles in the movie are so hot that they set the fake cake on fire. You can see it burning in the drama release. The facts shown by this LEGO collection are very interesting. It even has Smaug for you to fly over parties.
If you are a LEGO Insider, you can shop early starting April 2, so you can master it in front of others. It comes with over 2,000 pieces, including eight small hobbits and a Gandalf miniature. It even has Rosy Cotton, Sam Gamgee’s future wife. Due to the complexity and small size of the debris (which can be a choking hazard), it is made for adults (18 years and older).
