FBI agent who criticized the bureau under Trump is charged with disclosing confidential information

FBI agents criticize the bureau during president Donald Trump’s The first semester was arrested for sharing confidential FBI documents and information to write a book about his time at the federal agency.

“The draft book contains information obtained by BUMA through his position as an FBI agent, which is related to the FBI’s efforts and investigation of the foreign Weapons of mass destruction (‘WMD’) program,” the court documents said. “On November 2, 2023, Buma wrote an email to various individual colleagues to assist him in negotiating a book deal with a publishing company.”

The document says BUMA also shared excerpts from the book that contained confidential information in posts on social media.

Court documents state that BUMA has had problems with the bureau for many years.

In 2022, the document said, BUMA began to express his concerns about how the bureau would handle certain investigations.

Buma tells insiders In an interview in September 2023, he was shut down when he contacted former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani with the former mayor of the Trump campaign, who may have been compromised in Russia’s opposition. Buma said he was “very interested” when he had earlier told his superior about Hunter Biden’s commercial deal with Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

Fox News Digital contacted BUMA attorneys for comment.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office Central District told Fox News digits that Buma was released on $100,000 in bonds on one count of misdemeanor disclosure of confidential information.
