Nvidia announces new GPUs at GTC 2025, including Vera Rubin | TechCrunch

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced on the stage of NVIDIA GTC 2025 that a series of new GPUs have landed on the company’s product pipeline over the next few months.

Perhaps most important is Vera Rubin. Vera Rubin will be released in the second half of 2026, with up to 288TB of memory. The chip provides substantial performance gains compared to Blackwell, advocated by its predecessor NVIDIA, especially in terms of AI reasoning and training workload.

Huang said Rubin will be in the second half of 2027 Rubin Ultra, a collection of 576 Vera Rubin GPUs.

In the near term (second half of 2025), NVIDIA will release Blackwell Ultra, NVIDIA’s Blackwell chip group, equipped with a dedicated CPU. The Blackwell Ultra will be available in several versions, including 72 Blackwell chips included.
