Jon Stewart Democratic Party Ineffective due to opposition to President Donald Trump and Congressional Republicans.
The “Daily Show” host slammed Schumer and his party on Monday night, with 10 Democrats, including Schumer, voted with Republicans to pass the ongoing resolution (CR) to get the federal government open on Friday.
Stewart compared the Democrats to fixed bikes, “Pedaling really hard, don’t go anywhere” and failed to stop after months President Donald Trump Post-election agenda for 2024.
The late night owner played clips of Schumer since 2019, claiming he had been talking to Republican members “always” at the gym and had Stewart provide the senator with a gym crack.

“In the gym, they just agree with you because they want you to leave them alone in the gym, sitting on a fixed bike. ‘Oh, of course, Chuck, I’ll definitely do that.” But I have to tell you something, really stomping on it, there’s nowhere, and that’s a big metaphor for the Democrats,” Stewart quipped.
Early in the show, Stewart sarcastically told the audience to “don’t be afraid” because Democrats finally had a chance to stand up, and he marked Trump “wants to be a tyrant.”
Stewart laughed: “But don’t be afraid! Because the Democrats finally have the opportunity to stand up and show their frustrated party that they still have principles and backbones to face this desire to be this desire to be a tyrant.” Stewart laughed.

Schumer claims Recent interviews from The New York Times Once Trump’s favor polls drop below 40%, Republican lawmakers will begin working with Democrats. He noted that in Trump (48%) they need to “stay” until the president’s approval drops.
Stewart responded to the comments by telling the audience: “Obviously, the grand plan is that Dems complained ruthlessly until the 48 approval dropped to 40, which is a plan. But, it is a plan.
The late night host showed clips from MSNBC, which showed: “Only 27% of voters have a positive view of the party. NBC’s polls. ”
Stewart laughed at the weak numbers of Democrats.
“You have to let Trump lose the eight-point popularity point so you get to the point where he is 13 points below him! Your approval is only higher than the 7 points that are red and turn into a low-power mode,” Stewart Ribbed.
